Global Key Account Manager Your tasks
Position Summary: The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing strategic customer relationships across North America, ensuring high customer satisfaction and revenue growth. This role will focus on driving account retention, developing tailored solutions for key clients, and promoting TUV SUD's value-added services across the testing, inspection, and certification landscape. Responsibilities: Serve as the main point of contact for assigned key accounts and build strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders. Understand customer needs, industry trends, and internal capabilities to craft and present tailored service offerings. Drive revenue growth through upselling, cross-selling, and expanding service portfolios within assigned accounts. Ensure service delivery excellence by working closely with operations, technical, and global account teams. Lead commercial negotiations and renewals with key clients. Coordinate global support for international key accounts, aligning strategies across regions. Provide account forecasts, pipelines, and strategic plans on a quarterly basis. Organize regular review meetings with clients to monitor performance, collect feedback, and identify improvement areas. Represent TUV SUD at key industry events and client meetings to enhance visibility and thought leadership. Contribute to market research and intelligence initiatives to identify trends and opportunities. Your qualifications
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field required. An advanced degree is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of account management or client relationship experience, preferably in TIC (testing, inspection, certification), retail, or manufacturing industries. Proven experience managing large, global, or strategic accounts. Specific Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Strong understanding of consumer product supply chains and quality assurance processes. Hard goods (Toys, Furniture, Promotional products) background would be preferred. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work cross-functionally and manage complex projects under pressure. Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; CRM system experience a plus. Willingness to travel as needed.
