We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Media Buyer to support media buying and planning functions across various campaigns. This role will assist in budget tracking, media research, campaign execution, and post-campaign analysis. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, analytical, and eager to learn about media buying and execution within a fast-paced agency environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Execution & Management:



  • Maintain client schedules and promptly respond to client requests.
  • Learn and master key media programs and tools, including media math.
  • Assist in Request for Proposal (RFP) distribution, budget tracking, and partner proposal evaluations.
  • Enter and update media buys in the system, monitor campaign performance, and ensure proper UD weight allocation.
  • Assist with traffic issues and manage campaign components, such as insertion orders and creative trackers.


Research & Analysis:



  • Conduct local market research and track the delivery of audio and video investments.
  • Assist in actualizations and post-campaign analysis to measure campaign success.
  • Compile conference reports, meeting notes, and relevant documents for distribution.


Partner & Team Collaboration:



  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with media partners.
  • Support the buying team with invoice maintenance and other administrative tasks.
  • Participate in formal media training sessions and other professional development programs.
  • Show commitment to personal and professional growth, gaining a deeper understanding of the media department's role within the agency.



Qualifications & Skills:



  • 0-1 year of experience in media planning, buying, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative team environment.
  • Eager to learn, both through formal training and hands-on experience.
  • Confidence in suggesting new ideas to improve processes or enhance media strategies.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word (PowerPoint preferred).
  • Mediabrands does not require candidates to have a college degree.

The salary range for this position is posted below. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure and standing with the Company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee's/applicant's skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.
