Location:White Sands Missile Range, NM Job ID: #71089 Pay Range: $25-29 This is a W2 Contract ONLY, No C2C. The Technician performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.No Prior experience is required, diesel or gasoline mechanic experience is desirable. - Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. - Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. - Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. - Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions. - Exclude technicians working in production or quality assurance. - Will be a mechanic on HIMARS, M270 and Military Vehicles. Basic Required Qualifications: - Familiar with gasoline and diesel engines. - Troubleshooting skills on vehicles. - Familiar with engine and diesel engines. - US Citizen or Person - HS Diploma or equivalent Desired Qualifications: - Diesel mechanic working on Bulldozers and/or Large Diesel Engines. - Preferred experience working on gasoline and/or diesel engines.
