QA Automation Engineer - Playwright, Google Cloud & API Testing

Location: Dallas, Tx

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent related work experience.

Required Skills:

Lead level experience (7+ years) in software quality assurance in Onshore/Offshore model.

Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).

Experience with manual and automated testing techniques.

Experience with test automation frameworks creation from scratch (Playwright with Java Script or Type Script and Cucumber BDD).

Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).

Experience Google Cloud.

Experience with setting up CI/CD integration from scratch.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desired Skills:

Experience with micro-services architecture.

Experience with B2C authentication.

Experience with MicroStrategy.

Experience with dashboarding and reporting applications.

Roles and Responsibilities

To Perform Automation, Functional and regression testing

To develop frameworks for API and UI testing.

To set up CICD pipeline and automate manual scripts and integrate them via CI/CD.

Participate in Requirement session, technical design reviews.

As a Sr, QA lead, Host business walkthroughs to review test artifacts and offshore coordination.

To guide offshore teams on technical issues in frameworks or other automation processes.

Daily reporting of status, issues, roadblocks to customers.

Continuous automation enhancement and integration.
