We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Java full stack developer role involves designing developing and maintaining software applications using Java, Springboot, Microservices, Angular AWS. The candidate will work in a hybrid model focusing on payer domain solutions. With 6 to 8 years of experience they will contribute to innovative projects that enhance company operations and societal impact.

Location: Owings Mills - MD USA (Onsite)

Responsibilities

• * Develop and maintain high-quality software applications using AWS SQL Spring Boot Angular JS Java Javascript and mySQL to meet business requirements.
• * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions that optimize payer domain processes.
• * Ensure software applications are robust secure and adhere to industry standards to enhance user experience and system reliability.
• * Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure seamless operation of applications.
• * Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share best practices with team members.
• * Implement automated testing procedures to ensure software functionality and performance are consistently met.
• * Optimize application performance by analyzing system bottlenecks and implementing effective solutions.
• * Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate innovative solutions into projects.
• * Document software processes and procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity within the team.
• * Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• * Work in a hybrid model balancing remote and on-site work to maintain flexibility and collaboration.

Qualifications

• * 5 to 8 years of experience with Java, Springboot, Microservices, Angular AWS and mySQL essential for developing robust applications.
• * Demonstrate experience in the payer domain crucial for understanding and optimizing industry-specific processes.
• * Have a minimum of 6 years of software development experience showcasing proficiency in handling complex projects.
• * Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills necessary for troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges.
• * Show ability to work collaboratively in a team environment vital for successful project execution.
• * Display strong communication skills important for effectively interacting with stakeholders and team members.
• * Have experience in automated testing and code reviews essential for maintaining high-quality software standards.
  
  

Certifications Required

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Oracle Certified Professional Java SE Programmer

The annual salary for this position is between $97,000 to $114,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans
