Onsite Inventory Support Technician

The Opportunity:

In this role, you will report to the Supervisor of Site Services and will work closely with the Avantor's Lab and Production Services team of over 1,500 on- and off-site expert personnel - and our customers - to perform customized, mission-based lab work and research protocols that help return time back to science.

Shift:Monday - Friday, 7 am - 3:30 pm (open to 8 am - 4:30 pm)

Location: Traveling to multiple sites within Redmond, WA (less than 10 miles per day)

Hourly Rate Range: $25 - $27

What we're looking for:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required
  • Experience: 1+ years' experience in material handling, inventory replenishment and/or customer service
  • Collaboration Tool: Microsoft Office with proficiency in Word and Excel
  • Previous experience working in a GMP facility desired.
  • Able to lift 50lbs required
  • Driver's License needed reliable transportation
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: displays a professional can do attitude
  • High regard for safety, quality and adherence to protocols, policies and procedures
  • Ability to self-manage and self-motivate forward thinking
  • Communicate optimally with both the customer and internal contacts
  • Prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines

In this role you will:

  • Facilitates orders for lab inventory replenishment.
  • Manages customer's inventory using a handheld scanner.
  • Daily replenishment responsibilities throughout the sites.
  • Updated and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Performs additional inventory management related functions such as supervising slow moving and dead stock, conduct cycle counting and yearly inventories, and reporting, etc.
  • Utilized Avantor and customer computer systems in fulfillment of job duties
  • Handle chemicals; Will be putting on Garment suits and Safety Glasses (PPE)
  • Must coordinate schedules with other associates at the sites.
  • Will require flexibility in daily workflow in collaboration. To perform other tasks as necessary.

Pay Transparency:

The expected pre-tax pay for this position is

$45,000.00 - $74,900.00

Actual pay may differ depending on relevant factors such as prior experience and geographic location.
