The Opportunity: In this role, you will report to the Supervisor of Site Services and will work closely with the Avantor's Lab and Production Services team of over 1,500 on- and off-site expert personnel - and our customers - to perform customized, mission-based lab work and research protocols that help return time back to science. What we're looking for: Education: High School Diploma or GED required Experience: 1+ years' experience in material handling, inventory replenishment and/or customer service Collaboration Tool: Microsoft Office with proficiency in Word and Excel Previous experience working in a GMP facility desired. Able to lift 50lbs required Driver's License needed reliable transportation Excellent Customer Service Skills: displays a professional can do attitude High regard for safety, quality and adherence to protocols, policies and procedures Ability to self-manage and self-motivate forward thinking Communicate optimally with both the customer and internal contacts Prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines In this role you will: Facilitates orders for lab inventory replenishment. Manages customer's inventory using a handheld scanner. Daily replenishment responsibilities throughout the sites. Updated and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures. Performs additional inventory management related functions such as supervising slow moving and dead stock, conduct cycle counting and yearly inventories, and reporting, etc. Utilized Avantor and customer computer systems in fulfillment of job duties Handle chemicals; Will be putting on Garment suits and Safety Glasses (PPE) Must coordinate schedules with other associates at the sites. Will require flexibility in daily workflow in collaboration. To perform other tasks as necessary. Pay Transparency: The expected pre-tax pay for this position is $45,000.00 - $74,900.00 Actual pay may differ depending on relevant factors such as prior experience and geographic location.
