Must have experience with Real-Estate project management Role Summary The role will be responsible for the design, planning and delivery of EQ's Real-Estate strategy. This will require coordination across several business functions and working with senior members of the executive to realize and deliver their requirements. The role is based in the US and will report to US Head of Transformation Delivery. Some travel within the US will be required. This role is hybrid and will require you to be in our NYC office 2-3 days each week. Core Duties/Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: 3-5 years of experience in office relocation management, project management, or facilities management within a regulated business in financial services 3-5 years of working alongside internal business functions planning and executing moves, working along HR/People functions to co-ordinate colleague's impacts Must have experience of managing complex change of address requirements including recognizing SEC regulations for mail handling, IT networks, commissioning and de-commission of hardware Self-driven to complete all Real Estate projects on time, on budget, and with the expected ROI Familiar with the commercial real estate industry with emphasis on office use Must have strong Project Management skills Comfortable meeting firm deadlines and budgets Team-oriented with a proven ability to partner with multiple departments, groups, and individuals to get things done Willing to travel within the US when necessary and will be required to visit our offices in New Jersey, New York and Minnesota frequently. Proven ability to lead projects Basic understanding of budgeting, corporate financial systems, and procurement Proficient in all Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Outstanding verbal, and written communication skills with all levels of an organization Skills, Capabilities and Attributes The successful candidate will demonstrate the following experience, skills and behaviors: The Real Estate Project Manager will be responsible for providing project planning and oversight for corporate real estate projects such as office relocations, tenant improvements, office right-sizing (expansions or downsizes), construction, data cabling infrastructure, and IT equipment installation (routers, switches, UPS, etc) Managing real estate projects involving space planning, construction, permitting, IT equipment & infrastructure, relocation coordination, etc Coordinating office relocations with multiple vendors and stakeholders Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other specialists; hire full-time and part-time subcontractors and laborers, and coordinate their schedules Visit sites regularly during construction - including bid walks, preconstruction walks, in-progress visits, punch walks, and closeouts - and attend status and coordination meetings Placing orders for office FF&E and making sure they are installed on time Financial reporting - tracking project budgets, creating POs, submitting expense reports Adhering to Corporate Real Estate standards Preparing and updating weekly reports Conducting recurring project meetings with multiple departments, vendors, and stakeholders Other duties as assigned Pay Range - $45/hour - $55/hour based on related experience.
