Director, Finance Systems & Strategy The Finance Technology Strategy (FTS) team is committed to driving operational excellence, delivering service excellence, and enabling a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across the Finance organization. By harnessing technology enablement, process re-engineering, and innovative thinking, team strives to create a best-in-class Finance function that empowers our teams to achieve Acceleration 2029 goals with a focus on - people, process, data, and technology. Director, Finance Technology Strategy - will serve as lead Finance technology Strategy. This person will act as a strategic partner and internal advocate for the Finance organization, responsible for driving process optimization and business analysis across the Finance function. In partnership with the broader Finance Leadership and operational teams, this Director will drive process efficiencies, alignment with strategic goals, and delivery of transformative insights and solutions to enhance Finance processes and technology enablement. Will play a leading role in the organization of the Finance Technology Transformation Program for consolidating/Modernizing applications across multiple business units. In this role, you will: 50%
- Partner with Finance and IT leaders to define technology strategy for the future Financial & ERP Systems.
- Help build transformation roadmap for consolidation of CEI financial applications (MS Dynamics), Mexico contract to cash and other relevant business units into Global SAP platform.
- Execute the strategy, track against milestones, and drive results in collaboration with partner teams
- valuate third party vendor solutions for fit with regards to business and IT requirements, provide Buy vs. Build recommendation to business owners. Work with software vendors, system integrators and internal teams to deliver all initiatives ranging from large enterprise implementations to smaller features / enhancements.
- Lead projects on financial systems, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.

- Provide day-to-day management to guide the team throughout the software application development and support lifecycles to deliver flexible, innovative, cost effective solutions while meeting business, compliance and security requirements.
- Ensure the team follows established standards and best practices as part of the SDLC. Engage in lessons learned and continuous process improvement.

- Inspire, lead and grow the IT Financial Systems team providing guidance and support to a team of IT professionals managing integrated financial systems platform - both legacy and modern
- Lead by example and bias toward action - Not afraid of rolling up the sleeves and stepping into the hands-on work when needed; maintain high-level view while recognizing the need to work out details.
- Establish credibility throughout the organization by practicing the leadership principles of collaboration, exceling with partners, maintaining open communication, encouraging and inspiring staff.
- Effectively manage internal and external team collaboration and communication
- Manage vendor relationships (SAP, TCS, Probosys, Capgemini, Vertex, Blackline etc.) and oversee third-party consultants as needed.

- Identify opportunities, create, and implement processes to improve the effectiveness of the team and operational excellence. Ensure the team follows established standards and best practices as part of the SDLC. Engage in lessons learned and continuous process improvement.
- Stays current with enterprise ERP technologies and make recommendations for adoption as appropriate
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related engineering fields.
- 8-10 years of progressive hands-on experience in software development and application support within Mainframe, SAP, .Net or SQL.
- At least 3+ years of proven experience in leading large, cross-functional & cross platform technical teams.
- Proven implementation experience of playing key role in SAP S/4HANA/Other ERP software implementation
- Experience communicating Software Development related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical audiences; will have to be an articulate and persuasive leader who can serve as an effective member of the senior leadership team
- Exceptional communication skills necessary to advise and influence senior management, R&D partners, external vendors and clients
- Strategic leader who can drive a vision for ERP and modernizing legacy application while maintaining an execution-oriented for driving results; an entrepreneurial spirit; ability to serve as a hands-on leader
- Technical background in Software Development, project delivery and ITIL Practices.
- Strong influencing skills to get things done; a collaborative approach with the ability to partner with business leaders across the enterprise
- Proponent of continuous improvement process and the ability to challenge the status quo
- Experience working with multiple System and data Integrators.
- Experience with data center migration or similar rehosting programs and system upgrade projects.
Preferred:
- Experience in Fleet management business or financial application
- Certifications on AWS / other cloud technologies
- Background in Mainframe, .Net, SQL

- Strategic- Ability to identify and plan for multi-year opportunities and is prepared to invest time and patience in order to harvest a long-term, multi-year approach.
- StrongCommunicator- Ability to communicate succinctly and clearly with peers, leadership, direct reports, and outside partner and stakeholders. Able to communicate at all levels up to and including the Board of Directors and external regulators. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; interpersonal and collaborative skills; and the ability to communicate finance systems related concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences.
- TeamLeader- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams to achieve tactical and strategic goals. Project management skills; financial/budget management, scheduling and resource management.
The hiring base salary range for this position is $143,400 - $197,100 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual's knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data.
