Position:Hardware Engineering Manager Location:Southern NH (Onsite) Length:Direct Hire Job Description: Our client is seeking a Hardware Engineering Manager to lead the design and development of complex precision hardware systems. This role involves managing a multidisciplinary team, overseeing the full hardware lifecycle, and driving technical excellence in a fast-paced, innovation-focused environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in capital equipment or advanced hardware systems, with a passion for leading high-performing engineering teams and delivering high-quality products. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to): Lead and mentor a team of hardware engineers in the design and development of advanced hardware systems. Manage all phases of the hardware development process, including conceptual design, prototyping, testing, and transition to production. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, mechanical engineering, and manufacturing to ensure cohesive product integration. Ensure projects meet quality, performance, cost, and delivery objectives. Identify and manage technical risks throughout the development cycle. Foster a team culture focused on innovation, technical growth, and continuous improvement. Evaluate emerging technologies and incorporate relevant advancements into hardware designs. Support the evolution and optimization of engineering best practices and development processes. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (advanced degrees or certifications are a plus). Extensive experience in hardware engineering, particularly within capital equipment, advanced manufacturing, or related sectors. Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams or complex hardware projects. Strong knowledge of hardware design, testing procedures, and production methodologies. Familiarity with precision hardware or electromechanical systems is preferred. Proficient with industry-standard hardware design tools (e.g., CAD, simulation software).
