Global Warranty Advisor, Powersports

We are looking for a Global Warranty Advisor, Powersports who will report to the Warranty Team Lead and who'll be tasked with ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of warranty operations within BRP and our Dealer network. As part of your role, you'll be acting as both an auditor and Subject Matter Expert (SME), this role supports internal teams and external partners by promoting adherence to BRP warranty policies. You'll be at the forefront contributing to a culture of quality and accountability across the network.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

1. Warranty Claim Adjudication & Compliance

  • Evaluate warranty and goodwill claims to ensure alignment with BRP warranty policies, technical procedures, and documentation standards.

  • Approve or deny claims with clear, evidence-based rationale and maintain accurate claim records.

  • Identify patterns of non-compliance or misuse, escalating critical issues as needed.

2. Warranty Audit & Risk Analysis

  • Leverage warranty metrics, audit tools, and data analysis to detect trends, inconsistencies, potential fraud, and training opportunities.

  • Build comprehensive audit cases and communicate results with clarity and professionalism.

  • Collaborate with dealerships to provide education, correct claims, recommend best practices, and process claim debits where warranted.

3. SME Support

  • Act as the go-to resource for complex or escalated warranty inquiries from BRP staff, our partners, dealers, and distributors.

  • Provide timely, clear, and consistent policy support across multiple communication channels (e.g., case management systems, phone, chat, email).

  • Propose policy improvements based on recurring dealer challenges and ambiguity in claim interpretation.

4. Training, Documentation & Dealer Engagement

  • Lead training initiatives focused on warranty submission accuracy, policy updates, and audit insights.

  • Host workshops and learning sessions to enhance dealer and BRP staff understanding of warranty procedures.

  • Promote accountability and alignment through proactive knowledge sharing, including training and article creation/updates.

5. Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Produce and present audit reports outlining findings, performance trends, and actionable insights.

  • Support warranty operations leadership with recommendations to enhance compliance and streamline processes.

  • Partner cross-functionally to develop and refine tools, systems, and procedures.

6. Product & Technical Knowledge

  • Maintain up-to-date understanding of BRP products, offerings, bulletins, and diagnostics.

  • Stay current with all training and testing requirements

YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

Experience:

  • 5 plus years of relevant technical experience in Powersports, Automotive or similar.

  • Basic computer experience with the ability to type, email, and manage spreadsheets.

  • Advanced analytical and investigative skills with a strong attention to detail.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication; able to clearly explain decisions and influence across varied audiences.

  • Calm and diplomatic in high-pressure situations with a focus on facts, fairness, and professionalism.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

  • Process-driven with a continuous improvement mindset.

  • Location and in office expectations: Required to work onsite in the Sturtevant, WI office 50% of the time, or the equivalent of 5 days per 2 weeks and travel up to 10% of the year.

Preferred:

  • Technical degree or equivalent experience in Powersports, automotive, marine, or small engine mechanics.

  • Familiarity with BRP products.

  • Warranty experience.
