The University of St. Francis Department of Psychology invites applications for the position of Teaching Instructor in the Recovery Support Specialist area. This full-time faculty member will coordinate internships for students in the Certified Recovery Support Specialist ( CRSS) certificate program and teach CRSS-297: "Field Practicum and Fieldwork for Recovery Support Services." Position will begin July 2025.

The faculty member shall be responsible for the following: teaching assigned class; helping students fulfill their maximum potential in mastering course content; assessing student learning outcomes; maintaining a thorough and up-to-date knowledge in his/her teaching field; continuing professional development; utilizing current technology in the performance of job duties; maintaining standards of professional conduct and ethics appropriate to the professional position; assisting with curriculum development and review; assuming other responsibilities as assigned by the area Program Coordinator; fulfilling other duties and responsibilities of a faculty member as outlined in the college faculty handbook.

Teaching assignment may include day or evening classes. Internship sites will be visited at least onceper semester. This position is grant-funded and contingent on continuing grant funding. Work is performed in an office setting with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards.

Substantial time is spent working in a classroom. This position also requires visiting internship sites as needed for supervision of interns. This position requires the following physical activities: driving, sitting, walking, bending, stooping, finger dexterity, repetitive motions, talking, hearing and visual acuity.
