Position Title: Cheese Processing Operator Wage: $22.50/Hour + $2.00 Shift Premium Shift: 2nd Shift Hours: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM Monday - Friday Join a fast-paced production team where you'll play a hands-on role in crafting high-quality cheese products! Cheese Processing Operator Responsibilities: - Produce grating cheese according to the production schedule - Load cheese and ingredients into cooking tanks following recipes - Accurately record ingredient amounts and lot numbers - Operate powered lift trucks to move cheese and ingredients - Package finished products for storage or shipment - Use hand scanners to track ingredients and work orders - Clean equipment and utensils per sanitation guidelines - Assist with new product trials in collaboration with the Research & Development team - Follow all safety, HACCP, and GMP policies; report any food safety concerns - Troubleshoot and resolve production issues as needed Requirements For Cheese Processing Operator: - High school diploma or GED - 1-3 years of food manufacturing experience (preferred) - Basic knowledge of automated equipment operation - Strong computer and mechanical skills - Ability to read and follow instructions, product labels, and work orders - Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, weight measurements) - Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities - Strong teamwork and communication skills QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
