Responsibilities

Apply your knowledge as a Junior Systems Engineer to support specific technical tasks at Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division, West Bethesda, MD.

Configure and test computer assemblies including multi-disk RAID arrays and networks.
Execute Linux (CentOS or Red Hat) scripts to document system configurations and to update system software.
Install upgrades to system and system assemblies using installation and checkout procedures or engineering drawings.
Conduct performance verification and acceptance testing for systems during system development or upgrade.

Qualifications

High School diploma and 1-2 years of college or related work experience in comuter science or engineering fields
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance

Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $37,700.00/Yr. - USD $63,000.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
