Sr. Associate, Sales Training/Product Coaching-Vision Care --Fort Worth, TX

As an Sr. Associate, Sales Training/Product Coaching-Vision Care supporting Sales Training team, you will be trusted to manage the day-to-day operations of the Vision Care Training department. Key duties include organizing schedules, coordinating resources, overseeing new hire onboarding, facilitating cross-functional initiatives, and supporting curriculum development aligned with company goals. The role also involves close collaboration with Regional Training Managers, the Director of Training, and cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, optimize ROI, and ensure timely completion of projects. Additionally, the Sr. Associate Training Coordinator administers the Learning Management System (LMS) and manages software integrations to maintain smooth information flow across training and business units.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Developing and delivering internal training courses/programs targeting new hire orientation, product training, sales process and consultative selling, sales effectiveness, presentation skills, phone selling skills, etc.
  • Applying foundational knowledge of the Sales Function to design curriculum/content (tests, visual aids, etc.), select appropriate delivery mechanisms (i.e., classroom, webcast, e-learning, etc.) and conduct training
  • Developing and monitoring metrics for evaluating training effectiveness Managers may also be accountable for broader Sales Function talent development as part of Sales functional excellence/performance improvement initiatives. May select and/or oversee vendors to develop training content or conduct training.
  • Coordinate Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align with cross-functional partners to ensure deadlines are met and materials are taken through the MAP process for approval and field use.
  • Oversee and Evaluate Training Programs: Monitor program quality and recommend improvements aligned with company priorities.
  • Organize Training Resources: Schedule sessions and prepare educational materials with vendor coordination.
  • Streamline Onboarding: Deliver a consistent and impactful onboarding experience for new hires across the Vision Care team.
  • Optimize Training Processes: Collaborate with Regional Training Managers and the Director of Training to maximize ROI and usage of training vehicles, including the LMS.
  • Assess Training Impact: Evaluate program effectiveness and summarize outcomes to measure impact on KPIs.
  • Manage Technical Systems: Administer the LMS, streamline data integration, and ensure seamless workflows across departments.
  • Overseeing and administering logistics of training: Coordinate congresses and offsites, manage lodging arrangements, meeting space, and vendor credentialing tasks.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs.; Assoc.+6 yrs.; M.S.+0 yrs.)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
  • 2 Years of Relevant Experience
