Overview
Rapiscan Government Services (RGS), an OSI Systems Company, is seeking to hire a Facility Security Officer (FSO). RGS is growing and requires a Facility Security Officer capable of overseeing the management of its Security Program. As it grows, RGS requires an FSO that is familiar with Federal Security requirements and can advise leadership on compliance to large government contracts with Security requirements and responsibility within DoD, DHS and DoS. The Facility Security Officer (FSO) will oversee all aspects of the Company's security program in compliance with the National Industrial Security Program (NISPOM) in cooperation with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA). This oversight will watch over the Security requirements of two Rapiscan Facilities in the Northern Virginia area, including one that holds classified materials. The FSO will be responsible for managing policies/programs related to personnel clearances, security education and training, facility clearances, asset protection, FOCI, NISP reporting, visits/meetings, inspections/SVA, derivative classification and marking, and transmission of material. RGS is an industry leader in Security Screening Technology and Solutions. In addition to providing a broad array of cargo and vehicle inspection technologies and services for ports, borders, military, high-threat facilities, and checkpoints to help customers combat terrorism, drug smuggling, illegal immigration, and trade fraud, Rapiscan is a respected Security Leader.
