Position Title: Engineering Manager
Wage: Based on Experience Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions has a great Engineering Manager opportunity available for our client in New Berlin, WI. The Engineering Manager will be responsible for providing leadership to personnel, projects, and functions within the Engineering team. This position will focus on improvements to internal engineering processes and management of workflow to ensure customer requirements are met in post order design and production deliverables. In addition, the Engineering Manager will identify and implement best practices to manage drawings, BOMs, routings and other supporting documents to ensure the manufacturability of the product and accurate product costing. Engineering Manager Responsibilities: - Plan and direct engineering requirements related to the development of custom products - Identify and escalate issues / risks and develop solutions with cross-functional teams - Monitor KPIs including quality, deliverables, capacity and utilization - Create and lead teams through complex projects and control standards - Lead engineering development initiatives and perform reviews - Establish best practices and project scopes to meet performance goals Requirements for Engineering Manager: - Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field - 7-10 years of design / manufacturing engineering experience - 5 years of engineering management experience in manufacturing - Strong background in metals, elastomers, plastics or machine components / design - Proficiency in organizing technical projects and managing technical personnel - Effective verbal and written communication skills - Proficiency with 3D CAD (Autodesk a plus), ERP systems and Microsoft Office - Familiarity with regulatory standards for Medical, Aerospace, Defense, and Transportation industries preferred QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
