We are looking for a skilled and motivated Mid-Level Systems Engineer to support secure operations in a classified environment. This role requires experience in systems design, integration, and automation - especially in support of data-intensive voice and video solutions. You will contribute to the deployment and sustainment of mission systems while collaborating closely with technical teams to ensure performance, resilience, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain secure enterprise systems supporting voice and video processing.
• Assist in the configuration and optimization of clustered storage environments.
• Support systems automation through Python scripting and configuration management tools.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure high availability and security compliance.
• Participate in system patching, updates, and risk management activities.
• Perform system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Maintain clear and accurate system documentation and compliance reporting.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• 4-7 years of experience in systems engineering or related field, preferably supporting DoD or IC missions.
• Demonstrated experience with:
  
  
  
  • Systems administration in secure environments.
  • Clustered storage or data handling systems.
  • Python or similar scripting languages for automation.
  
  
  
  
• Familiarity with networked systems, virtualization, and security protocols.
• Understanding of RMF, STIGs, and DoD/IC compliance standards.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as Security+, Linux+, or equivalent.
• Experience with VMware, KVM, or other virtualization platforms.
• Familiarity with video/voice collection environments or mission systems.
