Job Overview
The Quality Assurance is responsible for supporting daily operations, ensuring HPS quality standards are being met, and improving the manufacturing process by removing waste and change. A Day In The Life
Every day at Hubbell is different and you'll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you'll make a difference by: * Performing in-process and final product acceptance based on AQL sampling. * Coordinating process improvement activities with work order; drawing changes with Mfg. Engineering and Operations as required. * Willing to assist or coordinate auditor efforts in other areas as required. * Keeping management apprised of progress and obstacles that constrain attainment of company objectives. * Understanding the plant policies and environment as it pertains to the safety of employees, operation of equipment, handling of equipment, and materials. * Understanding and monitoring QA and Production performance as defined in foundry control plans. What will help you thrive in this role?
* High School Diploma; * Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred. * Prior Quality Assurance auditing experience (required) * Record of passing HPS QA Test (required) * Experience with SAP systems preferred. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
