Sales Operations Manager

About the role/team:
Develops or uses sales measurement models and diagnostic tools to help identify sales performance indicators, key areas of opportunity and sales force training needs.May analyze or recommend strategic priorities, sales force performance metrics and sales effectiveness tracking methods in order to maintain and improve the company's competitive advantage in the market. May evaluate and recommend changes in sales incentive plans in line with analyses. May help develop and/or administer new training programs to fill competency gaps.

How you will make an impact:

  • Standardized Sales Process

    • Design and implement a scalable, repeatable, and compliant sales process to drive consistency across teams.

    • Develop sales enablement tools and resources to streamline workflows and enhance sales productivity.

    • Work closely with sales leadership to identify process gaps and continuously refine best practices.

  • Standardized Performance Reporting & Analytics

    • Own sales pipeline management, ensuring accurate forecasting and visibility into revenue trends.

    • Establish full-funnel conversion metrics, identifying opportunities to optimize deal progression.

    • Develop real-time dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights for leadership and sales teams.

  • Territory & Quota Management

    • Conduct territory analytics to ensure effective coverage and equitable distribution of opportunities.

    • Set and manage sales quotas and budgets to align with Payzer's growth strategy.

    • Partner with Finance to ensure accurate forecasting and goal-setting for sales teams.

  • WEX Sales Transformation & Cross-Collaboration

    • Serve as the primary liaison for WEX Sales Transformation initiatives, ensuring Payzer's sales strategies align with broader WEX objectives.

    • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, IT, and Customer Success teams within the WEX matrix to drive go-to-market execution and improve sales effectiveness.

    • Partner with Customer Success, Onboarding and Customer Care teams to enhance customer retention and lifetime value.

  • Sales Tech & Process Optimization

    • Oversee the CRM (Salesforce or equivalent) to ensure data integrity, automation, and efficiency in tracking sales activities.

    • Evaluate and implement sales technology solutions to improve lead generation, pipeline management, and reporting.

    • Lead training initiatives to ensure adoption of sales tools and best practices.

Experience you will bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales operations, revenue operations, or a related field.

  • Proven ability to design and implement scalable sales processes in a high-growth environment.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in CRM management, pipeline forecasting, and sales performance analytics.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Experience in quota and territory planning with a data-driven approach.

  • Prior experience working within a matrixed enterprise structure (preferred).

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
