Essential Duties:
Design and analyze protocols and architectures for quantum information science applications.
Present ideas and results in effective technical presentations, write technical papers, reports and proposals.
Work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Required Skills:
Coursework or experience in theoretical computer science, mathematics, and information theory, including the development and analysis of algorithms.
Knowledge of discrete mathematics, numerical analysis and scientific computing techniques.
Experience programming in Python and/or C++11.
Required Education:
Bachelor's in physics, Computer Science, or Applied Mathematics
Physical Requirements:
Excellent written and verbal communications skills, excellent problem-solving skills, ability and desire to work in team environment, ability to spend long periods of time at a computer monitor, and ability to travel.
Special Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship.
Must be able to obtain and maintain US Government security clearances as required.
Compensation:
The base salary range for this full-time position $76,530 - $93,320 + bonus + benefits.
