Product Manager - Epic Care Management Montefiore's IT organization invests in the communities we serve through comprehensive programs connecting our patients with care and resources leading to improved health outcomes. Population Health has been part of the fabric at Montefiore since the 1990's- long before the need to move health care from the inpatient setting into the community was recognized as critical by our peer hospital systems. We are seeking a Product Manager to manage the Epic teams for support Epic products such as Healthy Planet/Compass Rose, Clinical Case Management, and 3rd-party supporting vendor applications. This role is critical to supporting care coordination activities across multiple care settings. Montefiore requires employees to be immunized, including for flu and COVID. Responsibilities include: * Manage a team of IT professionals. * Oversee and manage projects ranging in size, complexity, and scope. * Manage and prioritize product requests. * Determine how changes impact the overall system and that of interrelated systems. * Responsible for the design and delivery of product solutions, ensuring that the end product meets stakeholder needs. * Oversee the design of workflow for new systems. * Participate in system go-lives. * Regularly speaks with clients to address and troubleshoot high-level issues. Works closely with the team to deliver high quality customer support. * Interface and work with other departments to identify and resolve issues regarding coordinated efforts to deliver solutions. Allocate team resources to other departments as needed. Requirements include: * Experience with any of the following Epic Modules: Healthy Planet, Compass Rose Clinical Build or Clinical Case Management. If candidate does not have upon hire, all 3 of these Epic certifications are required within 3-6 months of start date * Demonstrated experience managing an implementation team * Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects * Product implementation experience * Knowledge of IT for health care, health insurance, care management and/or population health * Excellent critical thinking skills * Strong desktop skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) * Excellent skills to communicate effectively with people at all levels in the organization * Exceptional emotional intelligence, empathy, and relationship building skills * Ability to motivate team members * Ability to match team member skills to team responsibilities * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Desired: * Project Management Professional (PMP) experience/certification Department: Montefiore Information Technology Bargaining Unit:Non UnionCampus:YONKERS Employment Status:Regular Full-TimeAddress:3 Odell Plaza, Yonkers For positions that have only a rate listed, the displayedrate is the hiringrate but could be subject to change based on shift differential, experience, education or other relevant factors.
