JE Dunn's Advanced Facilities Group (AFG) combines Mission Critical, Advanced Industries, and Industrial & Manufacturing into one high-performing team focused on cutting-edge work to serve innovative clients on large Industrial & Manufacturing, Data Center, and Semiconductor projects. Role Summary

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for facilitating the recruitment process in assigned areas. Activities include screening, interviewing, and coordination of recruitment events and processes across the talent acquisition lifecycle. This role serves as a resource to employees, managers and applicants regarding the recruitment function. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision and values of JE Dunn.



  • Autonomy & Decision-Making: Makes decisions on assigned areas of responsibility, provides recommendations to supervisor and refers all exceptions to supervisor, as needed.

Key Role Responsibilities - Core

  • Coordinates and implements sourcing strategies; developing an efficient, creative and effective search process to identify a diverse pool of candidates for assigned area.
  • Responsible for facilitating established recruitment processes, including screening, interview logistics, candidate decision making process, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
  • Creates exceptional candidate experience through each touch point of the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Professionally represents the company internally and externally at recruitment activities and events.
  • Establishing relationships with various outreach and educational programs to position company with opportunities for building talent pool.
  • Creates and maintains reports for accurately tracking recruitment related activities and expenses.
  • Establishes relationships and rapport with assigned clients to gain joint understanding of business goals, strengths, and opportunities by meeting on a regular basis and providing timely follow up on issues/concerns.
  • Utilizes internal ATS to ensure accurate postings, documentation of candidate activity, offer and acceptances.
  • Utilizes internal HR tools and processes to ensure alignment with established organizational role & compensation structures.
  • Responsible for developing knowledge of construction industry, our company's competitive position, and assigned client groups business requirements; in order to thoroughly vet candidates.
  • Partners with internal HR team to ensure compliance with company values/policies/procedures, owner requirements, and federal/state laws/regulations.
  • Partners with business leaders to develop sourcing strategies and solutions that deliver a pipeline of talent to meet emerging business needs and address anticipated talent gaps.
  • Assists with administering recruitment procedures, metrics and tools to deliver an efficient, effective process and ensure positive hiring manager and candidate experiences.

Key Role Responsibilities - Additional Core

In addition, this role will be responsible for:



  • Proactively sources passive candidates to build pipelines for difficult to fill roles
  • Builds relationships with business leaders in assigned departments to anticipate needs and consult on talent needs
  • Stays current on hiring trends, competitor information and market conditions
  • Partners with other functions of HR to ensure a positive candidate experience from initial application through onboarding
  • Creates and maintains reports and documents on candidate pools, screening notes and recruiting metrics

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner
  • Communication skills, verbal and written - Intermediate
  • Proficient in sourcing and interviewing techniques - Intermediate
  • Proficiency with MS Office - Intermediate
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems - Intermediate
  • Ability to conduct effective presentations
  • Ability to work collaborate across departments and various levels of management
  • Time management and prioritization
  • Identify process improvements
  • Understanding of Human Resources employment law
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, internally and externally

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field (Required)
  • In lieu of the above requirements, relevant experience will be considered

Experience

  • 5+ years full-cycle recruiting experience including sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews and offer negotiation (Required)

Working Environment
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds
  • May require periods of travel
  • Must be willing to work non-traditional hours to meet business needs
