Provides calibration support and related services to the Quality Assurance Department, Boaz plant, and division. Maintain records, files and reports as required.
- Perform calibration on all inspection gages per Parker documented procedures.
- Obtain quotes for outsourced calibration activities when not performed inhouse
- Coordinate outsourced calibration through a third party supplier via shipment to or performed onsite.
- Obtain quotes for new gages when needed.
- Pull gages for calibration and return them once calibration is completed.
- Perform gage and process audits and enter results in an electronic database.
- Communicate effectively audit findings to appropriate personnel, ie. Plant QA Manager, Engineering, Production Supervisors, and Operators.
- Use of all inspection tools (hard gaging, electronic gaging, automated inspection).
- Maintain gage inventory (pull gages for calibration, check-in/out gages, organize gages, assign ID's).
- Complete reports and documents based on order requirements, work instructions, company policy and procedure.
- Participate in the Quality HPT.
- All other duties as assigned by Supervisor or designee.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
