We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Circuit Engineer to join our team. This position involves designing, implementing, analyzing, and troubleshooting both digital and analog circuits, with a strong focus on supporting a DoD IT environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in circuit layout design, testing, and troubleshooting, as well as a deep understanding of networking and system security in the context of mission-critical defense operations. The Senior Circuit Engineer will also work closely with various teams to ensure seamless operation of the client's network infrastructure and provide both reactive and proactive technical support.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Circuit Design & Layout: Create engineering circuit layout diagrams for digital and analog systems, ensuring high-quality design, efficiency, and compliance with all standards and specifications.
  • Circuit Analysis & Troubleshooting: Perform comprehensive testing and troubleshooting on circuits, identifying issues and implementing solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • System Support: Provide technical support for network and systems infrastructure, including proactive monitoring and reactive troubleshooting of network systems and circuits.
  • Network Operation & Security: Ensure the security and effective operation of IP and optical network systems in compliance with DoD requirements, maintaining a focus on safeguarding sensitive information and maintaining high operational integrity.
  • Monitoring Tools: Utilize monitoring tools to provide proactive and reactive support, identifying and resolving issues that could impact network performance and security.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams and senior management, providing expert technical advice and support on circuit design, troubleshooting, and network security matters.
  • Standards & Best Practices: Ensure that all engineering work aligns with industry standards and best practices, including Information Management Operations (IMO) and IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices.
  • Customer Support: Provide support and technical expertise to internal and external customers, resolving circuit-related issues in a timely and professional manner.


Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience:



  • Citizenship and Clearance:

    • US Citizenship is required.
    • Must have and maintain a current DoD TS/SCI Clearance.


  • Education:

    • Bachelor's Degree in related field.


  • Experience:

    • Minimum 5 years' experience in creating engineering circuit layout diagrams.
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience in digital and analogue circuit design and implementation.
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience in analysis testing and troubleshooting circuits.
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience with help desk support and operation.


  • Skills:

    • Knowledge of IP and optical network operation.
    • Knowledge of DOD network and system security requirements.
    • Knowledge of networking and network-based software applications in a DOD IT environment.
    • Utilization of monitoring tools to provide both reactive and proactive support for the client network and systems infrastructure.
    • Knowledge of industry-accepted standards and best practices related to Information Management Operations and with ITSM best practices.
    • Demonstrated ability for oral and written communication with the highest levels of management.




Work Environment and Physical Demand:



  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.
  • May require ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
