Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work remotely with our client based in Stratford, CT or Moorestown, NJ . Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

• Sources, negotiates and purchases machinery, equipment, tools, raw materials, packaging materials, parts, services, and supplies necessary for an organization's operation.
• Compiles and analyzes statistical data to determine the feasibility of buying products and establish price objectives.
• Monitors the performance of suppliers.
• Compiles information to keep informed on price trends and manufacturing processes.
• Evaluate areas of opportunity to leverage material acquisitions.
• Tracks data to keep informed on price trends and manufacturing processes.
• Negotiates with suppliers and analyzes suppliers' operations to determine factors affecting prices and the lowest cost consistent with quality and reliability.
• Review proposals, negotiate prices, select or recommend suppliers, analyze trends, follow up on orders placed, verify delivery, approve payment, and maintain necessary records.
• Prepare requests for proposals (RFP) and bid packages.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Minimum 4 years of Procurement, buying, or Supply Chain experience.
• Minimum 4 years of SAP experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with aerospace purchasing.
• Experience placing purchase orders in SAP/P2P.
• Self-starter with the ability to manage a high volume of purchase requirements, supply chain-related tasks related to their assigned commodity/desk, and associated purchase orders.
• Must be highly organized and customer service-focused.
• Able to work independently in a virtual environment.
