The Service Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for activities resulting in overall improvement of the organization's supply chain operations. Anything that would impact customer service level is in scope. The primary focus of the Service Supply Chain Analyst is to ensure service parts and finished good are stocked in the service hub when needed, while managing inventory stocking levels.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reviews and manages demand for service parts and updates ERP planning to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
  • Review Min-Max values quarterly, update as consumption changes
  • Provide Min-Max values for new parts during NPD launches.
  • As needed, advise on order placement based on established min/max as set up in the system
  • Assist with disposition of excess goods as needed.
  • Provide solutions for unidentified parts.
  • Provide solutions for orders holding for materials.
  • Identifies underperforming areas in the supply chain and suggests resolutions/improvements.
  • Understands, communicates and manages customer expectations around impact to customers when Milwaukee Tool initiates a change.
  • Inventory Order Management
  • Pro-actively identifies areas of potential risk and works with Supply Chain functions to minimize customer impacts.
  • Pro-actively works with Supply Chain, Distribution and 3PL providers to organize information/data to align service parts and finished good needs to support customer repair expectations.
  • Work with manager to communicate metrics and performance to varying levels of the organization.
  • Categorize/analyze opportunities for improvement and leverage analysis skills to provide supporting data and ideas to coordinate and manage cross-functional activities.
  • Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Super User and Subject Matter Expert for AX and High Jump
  • Identify and provide input on potential changes to current processes as needed.
  • Support system testing as required.
  • Maintain data integrity of Inventory transactions in ERP and WMS systems.
  • Communicate details, ideas, and concepts to the management team, both verbal and written
  • Personal development to include continuously updating skills related to Lean, Supply Chain and Inventory Management, and Control best practices.
  • Practice 5S and safety
  • Take appropriate corrective action for continuous quality improvement and customer satisfaction
  • May be assigned other tasks and responsibilities as production needs require.
  • May be required to work other shifts and overtime, either onsite or from home; assist with after-hours system issues.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in the fields of Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
  • Proficient typing and ten key skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • AX and HJ experience required
  • Requires a high level of attention to detail
  • Previous inventory scheduling experience preferred
