THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Clerical Assistant 1, you will provide clerical support within the park by ensuring the Ohiopyle visitor center, campground contact station, and launch area booth operate in a smooth and efficient manner. You will serve as a receptionist by greeting, screening, and directing visitors; answering telephone calls; and providing routine information about the park and local attractions. You will process fees, issue permits, check-in and register campers, and maintain the brochure rack. You will be responsible for performing arithmetic calculations related to processing payments, providing change, and handling credit card transactions through the park reservation system. Additionally, you will need to reconcile the cash drawer daily.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Seasonal, full-time position without benefits.
  • Shift hours and days vary due to operational need, with a 30-minute lunch
  • Weekends, holidays, and all shifts as needed at 37.5 hours per week - 7-day operation.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
