*Description*
*Lead a team of Sales professionals to grow sales and capture new business. *Build solid relationships with customers, vendors and distributors, as well as internal sales and marketing teams. *Develop in-depth knowledge of company offerings to identify profitable business opportunities. *Review and make suggestions on sales volume and product mix by keeping current with changing trends, economic indicators and competitors *Develop sales action plans to facilitate the implementation of the new product launches, including outlining new customer prospecting strategies. *Help guide marketing efforts by presenting market/competitive information to marketing team and suggests strategies to expand market opportunities. *Assess current marketing and sales programs and recommend improvements as needed. *Prepare documentation required for requests for proposals (RFPs). *Research emerging trends and recommend new company offerings to satisfy marketplace/customers' needs. *Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow business. *Evaluate existing partnerships and sales efforts with an eye toward building on what works and changing what doesn't. *Manages key client relationships and work to build new ones. *Expand the profile and reach of the company and its brands. *Build strong relationships with sales, marketing, customer-service and management teams. *Develop and strengthen internal and external relationships that will lead to increased lead generation and market share. *Build cross-functional teams to guide and nourish sustainable, long-term growth. *Track emerging markets and trends. *Foster and work to maintain an entrepreneurial growth culture throughout the company and across all teams and work functions. *Propose and where appropriate or relevant, develop strategic partnerships. *Help to shape the company's long-term objectives and determine plans for how to meet them. *Research and identify new markets. *Provide advice on product development, distribution and promotion strategies. *Conduct presentations to raise the brand or product profile. *Present business or marketing opportunities to company management. *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Must Haves: - 4+ years of business development experience within the epoxy or resin industry - 2+ years of leadership experience managing sales reps - Experience building sales strategy for new product launches Nice Haves: - customer contact list/book of business within the resin industry - CRM systems Soft Skills: *Communication - Strong leadership competency and communication skills to a diverse team of sales professionals with the ability to rapidly resolve any concerns or misunderstanding of accountabilities and priorities. *Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics. *Customer Service - Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; Responds promptly to customer needs; Solicits customer feedback to improve service; Responds to requests for service and assistance; Meets commitments. *Business Acumen - Understands business implications of decisions; Displays orientation to profitability; Demonstrates knowledge of market and competition; Aligns work with strategic goals. *Strategic Thinking - Develops strategies to achieve organizational goals; Understands organization's strengths & weaknesses; Analyzes market and competition; Identifies external threats and opportunities; Adapts strategy to changing conditions. *Experience Level* Intermediate Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $150000.00/yr. offers the following plan options for eligible employees through BlueCross BlueShield of IL: MHHB166 HMO Plan - Blue Advantage HMO Network (IL Employees Only) MIBCO2030 PPO Plan - Dual Network Plan (available Nationwide) MPEQ1Z0724 HDHP Plan - Blue Edge HSA Network (available Nationwide) MICOE4064 HDHP Plan- Dual Network Plan (available Nationwide) HEALTH SAVINGS ACCOUNT (HSA) Dental Vision LIFE/AD&D & DISABILITY EAP Services *Workplace Type* This is a hybrid position in Wheeling,IL. *Application Deadline* This position is anticipated to close on May 15, 2025.
