As a Sr. Human Resources Business Partner for our Commercial organization, you'll play a key role in creating an engaging and supportive work environment by partnering with leaders and employees to implement people-first HR strategies that align with business goals.

This role supports a wide range of impactful HR initiatives, including employee relations, succession and talent planning, workforce development, and organizational effectiveness.

What will you do?

HR Strategy & Business Partnership



  • Collaborate with business leaders to assess needs and co-create HR solutions that drive outcomes.
  • Use data and insights to inform workforce decisions related to engagement, DE&I, turnover, and performance.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and development feedback to both leaders and employees.
  • Promote practices that build a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.
  • Support organizational change through thoughtful planning and clear communication.


Employee Relations & Advocacy



  • Partner with managers to navigate complex employee relations matters with empathy and fairness.
  • Interpret and apply HR policies consistently, ensuring alignment with legal requirements and company values.
  • Lead investigations and recommend solutions with discretion, respect, and a focus on resolution.
  • Coach managers on employee performance, growth, and engagement planning.


Talent Development & Program Leadership



  • Lead and evolve the intern and co-op programs, ensuring equitable access to opportunities and learning.
  • Support the talent review process to help identify and grow future leaders across the organization.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to support inclusive and effective hiring processes.
  • Contribute to global HR initiatives with a focus on learning, leadership development, and workforce planning.


How will you get there?



  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or HR certification (SPHR/SHRM) is a plus
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including employee relations and talent development
  • Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., medical device, pharma) preferred
  • Proven ability to translate business goals into inclusive, people-centered HR strategies
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust at all levels
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, managing multiple projects, and driving results
  • Knowledge of California and U.S. employment laws is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Willingness to work flexibly and travel occasionally
