Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineering SMTS in San Francisco, CA:

Job Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Create architectural frameworks for components and features of new software programs. Architect, design, implement, test and deliver highly scalable products. Master our development process, culture and code base, then improve it. Think critically to overcome challenges that arise during the development and implementation of a project. Solve challenging technical issues as they arise and developing strategies to prevent further errors. Operate optimally in the hybrid engineering model where engineers are encouraged to be able to craft and complete the vital work to ensure quality in their own code as well as other engineers. Develop test strategies, design automation frameworks, write unit/functional tests to drive up code coverage and automation metrics. HQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, and 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Master's degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Github or ANT; (2) OOPS, Data structures or Algorithms; (3) JUNIT; (4) JQuery; (5) Software development using Java language; (7) Software development using Java enterprise frameworks like Spring or Hibernate; (8) Software development using JavaScript technologies like ReactJS, or NodeJS, etc.; (9) Web-services development using REST or SOAP frameworks; (10) Professional work experience with software development best practices (e.g. unit testing, test automation, or continuous integration etc.); (11) Back-end development using Java EE technologies(e.g. Struts, Spring, or Hibernate); (12) relational/non-relational databases like SQL, Oracle, DB2, or MongoDB; and (14) Python, Kafka, AWS lambda, or RabbitMQ. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Salary: $157,600.00 - $236,500.00 per annum.
