The Pricing Manager is responsible for back office systems, project management, understanding and complying with all Weights & Measures requirements, establishing policies, procedures, and providing training for store level personnel and other departments to improve overall company process. Works with internal departments and store level personnel to ensure the integrity and accuracy of our price file. Provides coaching, leadership, training and daily direction to Data Integrity/ Pricing Coordinator's. Demonstrates ability to teach and develop employees to their highest potential. Works independently with little or no supervision and has good time management skills.

*Position will follow hybrid schedule: Monday-Wednesday in office, Thursday-Friday remote.*

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Act as back office system subject matter expert

* Project management of all Back Office System related projects; including but not limited to version upgrades, Sign & Tag Software , HQ Web Interface, Vendor Portal

* Manages, coordinates, and establishes Grand Opening schedule pertaining to New Store Set-up, New Vendor Set-up, Price Strategy creation, Provides analysis and solutions for store personnel questions/issues related to: item setup, pricing, tag/sign issues, batching, all other HQ related questions and discrepancies.

* Manages the creation, solicitation, and implementation of all vendor workbooks/forms for item file maintenance in Power HQ.

* Manages team of Pricing Coordinators inclusive of: hiring, training, coaching, daily activities, corrective action and performance appraisals.

* Collaborates with Merchandising Coordinators, Category Managers and Category Directors through daily interaction and regularly scheduled meetings.

* Understands how back office system interfaces with other internal applications such as Reporting, Ordering, Warehouse, Scales, Sign/Tag, & Reconciliation

* Supports the implementation of company standards at the store level through Coaching, Developing, and Leading monthly Conference Calls

* Identifies opportunities for training all Scanning Coordinators in the field.

* Responsible for applying all cost and price changes in the back office system.

* Responsible for transmitting updated information to all stores.

* Responsible for verifying that all batches are applied at store level to ensure accuracy of the price file at store level.

* Responsible for reviewing all Host to Store comparison reports.

* Act as a subject matter expert for scale transmission including but not limited to back office system interaction with Bizerba FrameWorks and scale communication as a whole.

* Act as a subject matter expert for PLab and all future tag & signage programs.

* Provides timely reporting and status updates pertaining to special projects.

Education and Experience

* At least 3 years of scanning experience in a retail store environment

* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

* Familiar with back office systems for retail management

* Must be a team player.

* Must have the ability to take initiative when technical problems arise and use independent judgment to take immediate corrective actions.

* Ability to adapt to the ever-changing technology curve while working in a cross-functional team environment.

* Ability to adapt and be flexible in a variety of situations ranging from minor to potentially catastrophic.

* Must have strong leadership skills including decisiveness, creativity, and vision.

* Must have expert attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines; time management is essential.

* Intermediate knowledge of network devices, PC workstations, and file servers.

* Excellent written communication and documentation skills.

* Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills for dealing cross functionally, as well as with vendors, peers, and senior management.

* Ability to train and disseminate technical information to all levels of employees.

* Must be able to resolve technical problems in a timely fashion.

* Must be proficient with MS Office.

* Advanced ability to multitask is essential.

* Must be able to support and contribute to team goals.

The pay range for this position is listed below. The actual rate offered will meet or surpass the legal wage requirement for the job's location.

$62,000.00 - $100,000.00

This pay range represents the minimum and maximum base pay for the position, which is determined by factors such as market data, the qualifications required, the level of responsibilities associated with the role and other roles at this same level. Specific pay rates will be within this range and based on your experience, qualifications, and skills compared to the internal team of this role.

Compensation for this position also includes incentive bonus opportunities that may vary based on individual and company performance. Specific details will be discussed during the hiring process.
