Job Description:

Ryan Companies is looking for a dynamic Marketing Operations Manager. This position will play a critical role in ensuring our marketing systems, processes, and data are well-managed and optimized for scale, precision, and performance. Operating at the intersection of strategy, data, and technology, the Marketing Operations Manager will be analytical and help identify opportunities for improved efficiency within the marketing department to support the business more broadly. They will be highly organized and able to lead projects that drive operational effectiveness, marketer engagement, and business growth.

  • Process Development & Optimization:Establish and improve standard operating procedures to streamline marketing project management, digital asset management, campaign execution, and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration:Partner with stakeholders across departments (Ryan Technology, Research/Real Estate Intelligence, Accounting, etc.) to ensure consistent data usage and reporting standards.

  • Client Experience/Voice of Client Program: Serve as advocate and primary educator of Ryan's project-based client feedback program. Analyze client experience feedback, identify trends that could lead to increased client satisfaction and retention, and advise on how to operationalize the feedback.

  • Market Research: Scope marketing's role in research activities that support marketing and business development goals. Lead tool/technology evaluation and process optimization to support market research activities. Facilitate connection with the Real Estate Intelligence team, acting as a bridge to ensure research investments align with business growth goals.

  • Campaign Structuring/Modeling:Create the infrastructure for effective integrated marketing campaigns through efforts like the audience segmentation process, workflow automation support (including building campaign models for replication), and effective use of marketing technology (Click - Email Marketing Tool, Microsoft Dynamics 365 - CRM, Aprimo - DAM, Reporting Dashboards - Power BI).

  • Data Management & Reporting:Develop and maintain accurate, actionable dashboards and reports that provide visibility into key performance indicators such as marketing output, campaign effectiveness, lead flow, client feedback/sentiment, pursuit hit rate and marketing ROI. Present and explain dashboards to internal stakeholders for appropriate use and understanding. Perform recurring data analyses, summarization, and presentation to highlight key insights/takeaways.

  • Compliance & Data Governance:Reinforce best practices in data hygiene and ensure compliance with relevant data privacy regulations (e.g., CCPA, CAN-SPAM). Identify and escalate data discrepancies and recommend remedies or actions that add value to the business.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field required (Marketing, Business Administration, Information Systems or Data Science/Analytics)

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B marketing, marketing operations or related role

  • At least 5 years of experience managing large projects independently

  • Skilled at establishing replicable "best practice" processes and practices that can be implemented across an organization

  • Strategic thinker with a detail-oriented and analytical mindset

  • Working knowledge of Power BI and Microsoft Dynamics 365

  • Ability to analyze and summarize findings from data and provide meaningful insight

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to facilitate collaboration and understanding

  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel

You will really stand out if you have:

  • Change management experience

  • Experience in "start-up" or growing marketing organizations

  • Working knowledge of data scripting/querying/parsing tools (specifically Python, SQL, JSON)

Eligibility:

  • Positions require verification of employment eligibility to work in the U.S.

Compensation:

The base pay is $95,000 - 131,000 per year. The base salary may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program.
