The Verizon Wireline Customer Service team is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction for our government and education customers every day. In this role, a vital part of the customer experience is in your hands. The work will be fast-paced, results-oriented, and involve working closely with internal teams and resources.

The Customer Service Coordinator performs customer service duties that are usually complex, following standard procedures and guidelines.

  • Work through and solve somewhat difficult wireline telecommunications problems.

  • Escalate complex issues as needed.

  • Adhere to standard practices and guidelines.

  • Receive and diagnose customer inquiries related to wireline telecommunications services that include but are not limited to credit issues, past due concerns, maintenance requests, billing, contract, rate inquiries, website troubleshooting, and navigation.

  • The ability to resolve problems while maintaining excellent rapport with customers is critical to the success of the position.

  • Perform customer-facing activities via phone, chat, and email.

  • Accountable for the overall client satisfaction with Verizon.

  • Support the Verizon Credo through adherence to company policies, processes, and practices.

Where you'll be working...

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location of Lone Tree, Colorado that includes some work from home and assigned office days in the Lone Tree office, as assigned by your manager. To be eligible for this role, you must live within a 60 minute commuting distance of the Lone Tree, Colorado office.

Qualifications:

You can defuse the situation, isolate the core issue and address the customer's concerns. You are energized by the challenge of working through difficult situations and finding positive outcomes. You enjoy gathering information and understanding the facts of a case. You bounce back when dealing with frustrated people and like solving problems. You are flexible, dependable, and work well on a team.

You'll need to have...

  • Bachelor's degree or one or more years of work experience.

  • One or more years of experience with wireline telecommunications customer service

  • One or more years of experience with government, education, or business wireline telecommunications customer service

  • Experience with the Microsoft Office product suite.

  • Must be proficient in typing (30+ wpm).

  • Must be able to work full time between the hours of 6 a.m. and 4 p.m. MT

Even better if you also have...

  • A degree.

  • Three or more years of wireline telecommunications experience serving government customers

  • Prior telecommunications or related experience and knowledge of typical products and services.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proactive, responsible and self-motivated.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $48,500.00 and $79,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
