Advanced Practice Provider for NICU and Newborn Nursery

Seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to provide care in a busy newborn nursery, level II neonatal ICU, & delivery room at UH Ahuja Medical Center. The schedule is 12 or 24 hour shifts including days, nights, weekends and holidays. Neonatal NP or Physician assistant with neonatal fellowship/experience and delivery room resuscitation experience required.

A Brief Overview

The Advanced Practice Provider is responsible for providing quality care for patients and increasing patient access and satisfaction. Standard tasks to be performed by an Advanced Practice Provider as specified by the Ohio State Board of Medicine or Nursing and UH entity specific Medical Bylaws.

• Provides education through role modeling and in-services to meet identified learning needs and to promote professionalism (5%)
• Advances own professional development through self-directed learning, continuing education and participation in peer review (5%)
