The Target Pay Range for this position is $230K-$310K annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

IMPACT YOU'LL MAKE: As the VP of Marketing Operations & Capabilities at BECU, you will lead the charge in revolutionizing our marketing technology stack and optimize our marketing operations. Your insights and strategic direction will shape the efficiency and effectiveness of our marketing operations by leveraging advanced technologies and data-driven processes. Your leadership will ensure a personalized member experience, driving better engagement and satisfaction. This role places you at the heart of our marketing evolution, making a tangible difference in every member interaction. WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Marketing Automation Strategy: Develop and execute an innovative marketing automation strategy to drive multi-channel lifecycle programs, from acquisition to retention. This includes managing the CRM, CMS/DXP, marketing automation, analytics, and other essential tools.
- Staff Development: Coach, mentor, and train your team to elevate their performance. Conduct timely performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to foster growth and motivation.
- Operational Optimization: Implement best practices, processes, and workflows to enhance marketing operation efficiency. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand campaign strategies and effectively design, develop, test, and deploy automated campaigns.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with Risk, Analytics, Product Development, and Compliance teams to ensure smooth integration and optimal use of marketing technologies aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Business Case Development: Create compelling, well-researched executive-level business cases to support ongoing investment in marketing capabilities.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts to ensure optimal value and performance from marketing technology providers.
- Industry Insights: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging technologies. Provide senior leadership with actionable recommendations to drive continuous improvement.
- Process Transformation: Lead process transformations for marketing execution, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and meeting customer experience expectations. Champion marketing data quality and governance in partnership with IT, Data & Analytics, Compliance, and other teams.
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, information technology, or a related field.
- Leadership Experience: 10 years of experience in people leadership.
- Industry Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing technology, marketing operations, or a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Advanced degree: Advanced degree in a relevant field.
- Location/travel: Preference is someone living in Seattle; however, this job can be remote or hybrid with the ability to travel up between 25%- 50% to Seattle.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of marketing technology platforms and tools, including CRM, marketing automation, analytics, and data management.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Project Management: Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
