As a Garage Trailer Shop Technician, you will perform safe and efficient repair and maintenance on company fleet, storage, and over the road trailers.

WHAT YOU'LL DO


  • Maintain proficiency in the diagnosis and repair of company fleet trailers
  • Maintain proficiency in all aspects of preventative maintenance procedures on company fleet of trailers
  • Test, repair, and/or replace electrical and lighting components per established procedures
  • Diagnose, repair, and overhaul brake systems per established guidelines
  • Complete required paperwork including equipment write-ups and work orders on a daily basis

  • Apply lean thinking and tools to eliminate waste in all areas of the position

YOU MUST HAVE


  • High School Diploma, General Equivalency Degree, or relevant work experience

  • Valid driver license

  • Demonstrated aptitude in PC/laptop computer skills
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE


  • Previous experience performing semi-trailer repairs
  • Valid Class A CDL

  • Desire to be a strong team player working in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment

ROLE SPECIFICS


  • Schedule: Thursday, Friday, Saturday 4:00PM-4:30AM
  • Work both inside and outside in all weather conditions
  • Extensive standing and/or walking on concrete surfaces
