What You'll Bring:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) degree with at least 3 years of experience as an attorney interpreting, negotiating, and drafting complex contracts and related documents
  • Experience acting as product counsel to review new product offerings and issue spot potential legal issues
  • Strong work ethic with the demonstrated ability to prioritize competing demands and accomplish assignments in a timely and independent manner
  • Highly responsive, excellent interpersonal skills, high emotional intelligence (EQ), and service-oriented attitude
  • An interest in emerging technologies, a desire to solve complex problems and a curiosity to explore new ideas
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited school required
  • Qualified candidates must have an active license to practice law and be in good standing in the applicable state(s) of employment by the position start date (or as otherwise permitted by state rules)
  • At all times of employment, qualified candidates must remain in good standing and maintain an active license to practice law in their applicable state(s) of employment
  • A sense of humor; plays well with others; relationships matter to you

We'd Love to See:

  • A background in the credit, financial services or technology space preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of GLBA and FCRA preferred

Impact You'll Make:

  • Responsibility for reviewing, negotiating, and drafting complex commercial agreements in support of the credit risk solutions business.
  • Work closely with the credit risk solutions attorney and the credit risk solutions product team to review new products and solutions and identify and mitigate potential legal issues.
  • Work collaboratively with internal cross-functional teams including privacy, sales/business development, compliance, information security, information technology, acquisition integration, operations, and product development.
  • Successful candidates must be fast learning team players willing to work within a hard-working but relaxed and sociable team.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Pay Scale Information : The U.S. base salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $150,000 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual's education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations. Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion's annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
