How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Organize and allocate resources to meet production targets effectively and efficiently.
  • Lead capacity planning and optimize resources for your assigned unit or line.
  • Ensure production schedules align with demand plans and inventory service levels.
  • Identify and recommend improvements for technical equipment and facilities.
  • Ensure the execution of volume, quality, and on-time delivery targets.
  • Propose and oversee implementation of actions to improve production performance.
  • Manage the resolution of critical product or equipment issues with internal teams.
  • Guide, motivate, and develop your team, ensuring they are skilled and directed.

Your Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field, or associate's degree with 5+ years of supervisory experience, or 8+ years of supervisory experience.
  • Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Work authorization to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
  • Preferred: Leadership experience in transformer manufacturing and coil winding.
  • Knowledge of MS Office, ERP, and Workforce Management software (e.g., SAP).
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Experience with timekeeping systems (e.g., Kronos).
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
