SUMMARY: Join Daily's Premium Meats as an HR Manager on our Corporate team, where you'll be instrumental in shaping our workplace culture. This position is responsible for overseeing key HR functions such as performance management, compensation management, and learning and development. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of HR best practices and a passion for cultivating a high-performance culture within the organization. This role will work closely with senior leadership and managers across the company to drive employee engagement, development, and retention. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position may have direct reports, however this could change over time as the business needs shift. Ideal candidate would have supervisory experience and could continue creating a work culture that supports the teams growth and development. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty/function satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree or higher, and 7 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. HR certification (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP) is preferred. DECISION MAKING RESPONSIBILITIES: Frequent contact with operations management and plant leadership, with direct reporting line to VP of HR. Approval of Senior HR Manager required on some issues and some duties and responsibilities will require authorization. TECHNOLOGY SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to operate basic office equipment, Word, and Excel. Knowledge and experience with HR Information Systems is preferred and ability to learn new processes and systems quickly with appropriate training. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment includes a normal office environment as well as climate extremes found in all areas of the plant. May be required to travel to other plants, remote facilities and/or corporate offices for training, projects, or meetings. Daily's Premium Meats is an equal opportunity employer.
