*Description*
The Medical Records Specialist is responsible for managing, preparing, and retrieving patient charts and records to ensure accuracy for billing purposes and compliance with Blue Cross NC's updated medical record submission requirements. This role involves responding to ROI requests, logging all requests, authorizations, and releases in the system, and ensuring timely and accurate submission of medical records. Will also support physician billing insurance follow-up and working denials if they are low on Medical Records work. *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Must have EPIC Must have Insurance Follow-Up Must have Release of Information/experience uploading medical records for claims Preferred to have Physician Billing experience *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
