We are looking for a skilled Security Engineer to join our dynamic team and help us safeguard our digital assets. Job Summary The IT Senior Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to protect our organization's computer systems, networks, hybrid cloud infrastructure, applications and data. This role involves designing, implementing proactive and compliant security measures aligned with organizational objectives and technology strategic imperatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and optimize security systems to protect IT infrastructure, virtual private cloud instances, and the broader technology ecosystem.
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents to identify potential threats, vulnerabilities and exploits ensuring risks associated with our threat landscape are appropriately mitigated.
- Conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of our technology ecosystem.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure seamless integration of security measures with business operations.
- Stay up to date with the latest security trends, technologies, and threats, and recommend improvements to enhance security posture and resiliency.
- Provide training and support to employees on security awareness and best practices.
- Respond to security breaches and incidents, conducting investigations and implementing corrective actions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree OR relevant experience
- Proven experience as an IT Security Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, application security, cloud security, network security and risk management frameworks.
- Experience with a variety of security tools (i.e., EDR, NDR, XDR, CNAPP, CSPM, CWP, SAST/DAST, SCA, etc...)
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., NIST, PCI, SOX).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, SSCP, CCSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
