Job Title: ML Architect (MlOps, Vertex, and Feature Store - Required)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Architect with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Google Vertex AI and ML Ops with a strong background in the hotel industry. This hybrid role requires a deep understanding of AI and machine learning applications within the hospitality sector, ensuring innovative solutions that enhance guest experience and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

* Implementing pipelines to deploy trained machine learning models into production environments across various platforms including cloud services. Good to have Google Vertex

* Building and maintaining the infrastructure required to support ML model operations including data pipelines feature stores and computational resources.

* Experience in building Feature engineering

* Working closely with data scientists to translate their developed models into production-ready systems.

* Setting up automated alerts to notify relevant stakeholders about model performance issues and generating comprehensive reports on model health.

* Programming languages: Proficiency in Python with knowledge of other languages like Scala or Java

* Machine learning frameworks: Expertise in frameworks like TensorFlow PyTorch Scikit-learn

* Cloud computing platforms: Familiarity with cloud providers like AWS Azure or GCP

* DevOps practices: Understanding of CI/CD pipelines containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes)

* Data engineering skills: Knowledge of data preprocessing data pipelines and data warehousing

* Monitoring and logging tools: Experience with monitoring systems like Prometheus Grafana and logging frameworks

* Communication and collaboration: Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

* Lead the design and implementation of AI and ML solutions using Google Vertex AI to optimize hotel operations and guest services.

* Oversee the development and deployment of ML Ops pipelines to ensure seamless integration and continuous improvement of AI models.

* Provide technical guidance and support to cross-functional teams in the application of AI technologies within the hotel domain.

* Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI-driven enhancements in guest experiences and operational processes.

* Develop and maintain documentation for AI and ML solutions ensuring clarity and accessibility for all team members.

* Conduct regular assessments of AI models to ensure accuracy relevance and alignment with business goals.

* Implement best practices for data management model training and deployment to maintain high standards of performance and reliability.

* Monitor and analyze the performance of AI solutions making data-driven recommendations for improvements.

* Stay current with industry trends and advancements in AI and ML technologies applying new knowledge to enhance existing solutions.

* Facilitate training sessions and workshops to upskill team members on AI and ML concepts and tools.

* Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations in all AI and ML initiatives.

* Drive innovation by exploring new AI applications and technologies that can benefit the hotel industry.

* Contribute to the company's strategic goals by leveraging AI to create competitive advantages and improve customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

* Possess a strong background in Google Vertex AI and ML Ops with hands-on experience in designing and deploying AI solutions.

* Have extensive experience in the hotel industry understanding the unique challenges and opportunities within this domain.

* Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about complex technical issues.

* Exhibit strong communication skills capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

* Show a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest advancements in AI and ML technologies.

* Have a proven track record of successfully leading AI projects from conception to deployment.

* Be proficient in data management model training and deployment best practices.

* Display a strong understanding of data privacy and security regulations.

* Be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model balancing remote and on-site responsibilities.

* Show a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues before they impact project outcomes.

* Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.

* Have experience in conducting training sessions and workshops to share knowledge and skills with team members.

* Be committed to driving innovation and leveraging AI to create meaningful impacts in the hotel industry.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until May 15, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $80,000 - $156,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
