Summary

The Pharmacy Technician in the Milk Lab is responsible for the preparation, distribution, inventory and management of both human milk and nutritional formulas in the children's hospital setting. Accurately calculates nutrition order recipes, follows strict adherence to aseptic technique during preparation, effectively communicates with clinical staff, applies critical thinking in adhering to protocols and problem solving, and manages multiple critical tasks throughout the shift. Requisitions and inspects supplies and materials in order to maintain inventory levels and ensures standards of quality are met. Ensures products are compliant with current codes and are acceptable for use.
