Pharmacy Technician - Per Diem
Millwood Hospital
Arlington, TX

As a per diem, non-exempt CPS Solutions, LLC Pharmacy Technician, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.

Schedule: This position works every other weekend Saturday and Sunday from 7:30AM to 12:30PM, as well provide coverage for PTO and holidays as needed.

Starting Pay: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour, depending on experience

About the Facility:Operated by Universal Health Services, Millwood Hospital is a 120-bed licensed facility that provides mental health and chemical dependency care to people of all ages. The facility also contains The Excel Center, a short-term, outpatient treatment alternative for adults 18 and over. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

About the Pharmacy:The Pharmacy is open Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:00PM; Weekends & Holidays 7:30AM-12:30PM.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Recent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy
  • Texas Pharmacy Technician License
  • Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
  • Effective communications skills; verbal and written
