JOB DETAILS

Base Pay: $24.00 per hour

1st Shift: 6:45 am - 3:15 pm

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Audit loaded trailers from doors 1-34 (including cross-dock transfers and in-transits), dock lanes in accordance with CBB SOP using Safety Cultures Auditing template

• Highlighted, document and notify Team Lead of any loading failures so that they can be corrected before the trucks departure
• Research and expedite shorts and old orders on dock
• Expedite all "hot" orders through the shipping process quickly
• Expedite all repairs and returns through the MFG and Shipping repair process
• Assist in locating any units on manifest not loaded report, to close out trucks
• Document and take photos of all broken units received from Color Coat and create load audit
• Document all Safety Culture audits that were started, completed and uncompleted for following shift's Auditor
• Assist Dock TL in closing of trucks both physically and systematically
• Manage and organize basement dumpsters and coordinate with PIT operator and the end of shift to empty all garbage bins from door's 1-34
• Communicate with yard jockey what trailers need to be pulled in and out of dock doors 1-25
• Print out all parts screen shots from IBM needed to load on working load date
• Order additional cardboard and material when low
• Notify FG Team Lead of short code and respective door number for stock units (shorts) needed to close trucks
• Help and assist in 5S cleanliness and organizing of the dock
• Participate in daily Safety Walk's

• High School education or equivalent preferred
• Proficient communication skills
• Dependable, punctual, detail oriented and proficient communication skills
• Ability to drive a stand up forklift
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
