For a limited time MaineHealth is offering up to$10,000 Sign on bonus for all eligible Behavioral Health Clinicians!

Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 3 months separation from employment. Bonuses may be prorated based on schedule.

~ 20 Hours/week, Part-time, Day shift ~

Maine state licensure to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Masters Social Worker - Clinical Conditional (LMSW-CC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor - Conditional (LCPC-c), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist - Conditional (LMFT-c)is required

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Behavioral Health Clinician to provide counseling services to individuals seeking substance use and drug addiction treatment.

We strive to form a positive working relationship that recognizes individual strengths and builds self-awareness. Our programs are based on evidence-based treatments that are client-centered, assisting people wherever they are in their recovery.

Summary
The Behavioral Health Clinician II role functions in medical practices, working with adults, families and children and provides assessment, screening and referral in-services. Provides focused therapy, prevention and educational services.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Master's Degree in Social Work/Clinical Counseling from an institution accredited by the Council on Social Work/Counselor Education required.
  2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) preferred, or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor by exception. Valid Driver's license required.
  3. Experience: Two years of relevant experience in a health or mental health setting preferred. 18 months of experience with MBH required. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of the Behavioral Health Clinician I role.
