General Purpose: Under the direction of the Director of Sales, oversee all sales activities for our haulers and others in transportation for ag. Will assist with developing the hauling program, identify carrier partners, and solicit new business. Other insurance verticals may be assigned by Sales Management as business needs dictate. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with assigned Account Executive, if applicable, to solicit and sell property & casualty insurance products.
- Help to establish and grow a transportation insurance program, targeted at servicing milk haulers.
- Identify new markets for access to use for the transportation program.
- Help educate our DFA Areas on hauling needs and concerns.
- Create prospect lists and gather prospecting data, like ex-dates and competitor intel.
- Solicit new business by calling and meeting with prospects.
- Achieve new business revenue goals as assigned by sales leadership.
- Achieve KPI goals for outbound calls, new business submission counts, and revenue.
- Refer business to other sales members as needed or directed.
- Attend all sales, carrier, and DFA meetings as directed by sales leadership.
- Collaborate with ASA leadership for the growth of ASA programs.
- Consistently demonstrate high standards of integrity by supporting the Cooperative mission and values; maintain proper level of professionalism and proactively work to ensure confidentiality standards are met and comply with or exceed state and federal requirements.

Minimum Requirements: Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred but equivalent experience is acceptable.
- An agricultural background helpful, sales background is beneficial as well.
- 3 years of insurance and/or sales experience preferred.
- Certification and/or License
- Must possess or obtain property & casualty license.
- Must possess valid driver's license.
- Additional licensing and/or certifications may be required during course of employment
