As an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the organization's IAM framework to ensure secure and efficient access to resources. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, assess risks, and develop scalable IAM solutions that meet the organization's needs.

What You'll Do
  • Lead the design and architecture of IAM solutions to manage user identities, roles, entitlements, and access privileges across the organization.
  • Develop IAM strategies, roadmaps, and implementation plans that align with business objectives, security policies, and compliance requirements
  • Define IAM policies, procedures, and standards to govern access controls, authentication mechanisms, and identity lifecycle management processes
  • Architect IAM systems and infrastructure components, including identity providers, single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), privilege management, and identity governance.
  • Establish identity lifecycle management processes, including provisioning, role-based access control (RBAC), and entitlement review.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate IAM solutions with existing systems, applications, and directories, ensuring seamless access controls and user experiences.
  • Conduct security assessments, risk analyses, and compliance audits to identify and remediate security risks, vulnerabilities, and compliance issues.
  • Develop and implement identity lifecycle management processes, including user provisioning, deprovisioning, and account reconciliation.
  • Stay current with IAM trends, emerging technologies, and industry standards to recommend and implement innovative solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to IAM engineers and other IT staff as needed.
  • The IAM Architect will work closely with the Security Operations team, key stakeholders, and the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to ensure robust identity governance and compliance, while enabling business objectives.
What You'll Need
  • Proven experience working as an IAM Architect or similar role, with a strong background in designing and implementing IAM solutions.
  • Deep expertise in IAM concepts, principles, and technologies, including identity providers, SSO protocols, MFA methods, privilege management, and identity governance.
  • Experience with IAM tools and platforms such as Okta, Azure Active Directory, Ping Identity, or similar products.
  • Solid understanding of security principles, access controls, encryption technologies, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to architect scalable and secure IAM frameworks that meet complex business requirements.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM), or vendor-specific IAM certifications are a plus.
Your Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
