Primary Responsibilities:



  • Utilize internal and external data to identify opportunities to improve business performance
  • Simplify complex data into actionable insights
  • Business Intelligence & Dashboard Development
  • Assist with Administration of Tableau Server and Health Plan Projects
  • Assist with building, optimizing, and managing ETL data processing to support data integration for reporting and analytics
  • Detect data quality issues, identify root causes, implement fixes, and manage data audits to mitigate data challenges
  • Provide clarity and recommendations on tools, patterns, and directions that will accelerate delivery
  • Effectively create data transformations that address business requirements and other constraints
  • Leverage processes and diagnostics tools to troubleshoot, maintain and optimize solutions and respond to customer and production issues

Years of post-high school education can be substituted/is equivalent to years of experience

Required Qualifications:



  • 2+ years advanced coding experience using SQL and Oracle
  • 2+ years of experience with data visualization using Tableau
  • 2+ years of experience documenting and updating business process
  • Experience providing advanced analytics and insights
  • Experience utilizing ETL tools such as Talend and Alteryx
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
  • Demonstrated ability to pivot based on team and health plan priorities



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience with predictive Data Modeling tools
  • Healthcare industry knowledge
  • Expert proficiency in statistical techniques

The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
