Staffmark is hiring a Collections Specialist in Lubbock, TX! If you have strong communication skills, a persuasive attitude, and at least one year of collections experience, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Pay: $14.00/hr

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:



  • Contact consumers regarding delinquent accounts and negotiate resolutions in line with firm policies and legal guidelines (FDCPA, etc.)
  • Document detailed and accurate call summaries in the collections system
  • Update account information and track all changes accurately
  • Meet collection benchmarks and monthly call quotas while maintaining professionalism and quality service
  • Collaborate with management on escalated accounts and provide regular updates on special cases
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support changing business needs



Qualifications:



  • Minimum 1 year of experience in collections
  • Must pass required assessment tests if applicable
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
